Desktop.ini

I'm running WinXP Home SP2 and I see Desktop.ini files in just about every Folder I visit which are un-necessary.

I do not do any Folder customization which would require Desktop.ini file for that Folder so the files should be cleaned out if an option to do this is present in CCleaner.

Please. ;)

Does this help?
That points to a Microsoft tip:
Notepad Starts With "[.ShellClassInfo] LocalizedResourceName=@%SystemRoot%\System32\Shell32.dll,-21787" When You Start Your Computer

Deleting all Desktop.ini files would prevent this situation from happening.
