Which of the programs listed by CC can I safely uninstall?

I don't know if there is a thread for this anywhere - it's not exactly directed towards running CCleaner, but more how to interpret the output I get.

On the list of "remove programs" I have a lot of things, which I don't know what is and if I can safely remove them.

They don't actually harm anything as far as I know - but I just like to tidy up :)

Can I get help here or do you know where to ask?

On the list of "remove programs" I have a lot of things, which I don't know what is and if I can safely remove them.

That list just shows what is installed, it shows the same as in Windows own Add/Remove programs list but with a few extra items that Windows hides (so that they aren't accidentally removed). It is not necessarily something to be cleaned.

I have now installed the programs and will start to have a look at it.

If you're talking about Total Uninstall and ZSoft Uninstaller those are supposed to be used to track an installation before you've installed the software. Then they scan for all the changes an installed program has made and keep a log of what was installed to assist in a more complete uninstall of the software. If you haven't tracked an installed program they are of zero use, and you don't need both of them choose the one you're most comfortable with.

I chose ZSoft Uninstaller - and I'm aware that it doesn't help me with programs currently installed, but it can help me in the future.

I think I'll just ignore the list of installed programs and accept that I don't know what some of them does - even though it would be nice to uninstall them if they are of no use to me.

If I ever reinstall everything on this computer I'll know to install ZSoft Uninstaller first, so I can keep my computer tidy :)
