Humpty Posted April 27, 2007 Share Posted April 27, 2007 You can press Win + L key or make the desktop - quicklaunch shortcut below. 1. right click your desk top and select NEW then SHORTCUT 2. paste in this to the prompt..... %windir%\system32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,LockWorkStation 3. Name shortcut Lockdown or whatever 4. When finished you will have a non-descript icon.... if you right click it and go to properties ... then browse (paste this) %SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll you will find some more pictures for your icon. 5. Drag the shortcut icon to your "quick launch" tool bar. 6, The next time you need to lock your PC you need only one click. Not much use here as I don't have a password set.
