 O.K. read the Wilders Security Forum thread on CCleaner v. 1.39.502 being reported as false positiv for Dropper.Packes by AVG AntiSpyware. It is also being reported by AVG Antimalware 7.5 since the 23 April update to virus base 269.5.10/744. Am avidly awaiting an AVG update to resolve this unfortunate issue. Can't live without my CCleaner! In the meantime I've reverted back to version 485 to keep AVG quiet.

I just posted with AVG that the file "uninst.exe" is reported infected with "dropper.pakes" in "C:\Program Files\CCleaner" as well.

Glad to see that this looks like a false positive like I thought.
