Your Favourite/Unusual Wine, Beer or Cider Label

OK folks as most of you know I am attempting to have a "counter lunch & a beer / wine / cider" in every Pub in Tasmania in my retirement. Then in every Pub on Mainland Australia when I move there in September this year.

Now Even though I am well on my way and I have now lost count of the number of Pubs visited, I thought an excellent way of remembering the visits I would where possible I would obtain, beg, borrow or snap a photo of the "liquid gold fluid" just consumed with my trusty Motorola mobile phone and store them.

Then I thought, why not display them, why not ask "The Piriform Fourum Crew/Member" to also display their "favourite" or "unusual" brand of Wine, Beer or Cider (alcoholic or not) product labels. If you are unable to get a bottle label, try getting a "drink coaster" from the bar/table. You could also name the Pub or display their web site URL. Perhaps give a reason for those members living in the area named to visit that Pub.

To this end please alow me to start the ball rolling with my visit today to "The Weldbrough Pub" http://www.hotel.weldborough.com.au/ Located about 1.0 hours drive East from my home town of Scottsdale, the Pub is located in the Blue Tier Mountain Range.

Two very unusual but nice tasing beers, Van Dieman Little Hell & Van Dieman Two Heads were consumed by me in their Cider & Beer Garden after lunch.

I hope this is the beginning of a good tale.............Tas

... I think I've met that guy in the picture at right ...

The front of mine isn't the favorite part so here is my submission (I apologize for the Slightly NSFW name of the beer)

Too many favorites to list. :D

It`s got to be the Red Lion at Lacock,Wiltshire

and Wadworth 6X Beer ..oh it`s calling now....

My favorite wine is Welch's Grape Juice. It's not really a wine, but I vote for it, anyway.

Franzia (Argentina) Chianti and Chablis 5 liter boxes. Keep well, enough for a gathering of friends.

Sadly both of these are now empty ...

Even though I'm an Aussie I find Australian beer is not what it used to be...

I've been drinking Miller's Chill an American beer that's brewed here :)

Craig, that just means you built tolerance to it, LOL!!!!

:)

Lol, whenever I think of Australian beer, the only thing that comes into my mind is the Fosters commercials they play here (I don't drink btw, just adding in here; never have, never will).
