Wrong e-mail address for confirmation

Hi everyone,

I recently purchased a CCleaner software license through the CCleaner 7 application. During the checkout process, I accidentally entered an incorrect email address due to a typing mistake.

Because of this error, I did not receive the confirmation email or the Cleverbridge reference number that is normally sent after purchase. However, the software is currently activated on my computer and I do have the product key.

Could you please advise how I can update the email address associated with my purchase and obtain the Cleverbridge reference number so that I can manage my subscription?

Typos in the email address happens quite often so let’s give a shout to @Laurence_CCleaner who should be able to help you.

In the meantime:
This is a user forum and so we do not have access to accounts/billing here.

If you want to manage and/or cancel your subscription then there is a webpage to use: Subscription Management
If you need to look up your Cleverbridge reference then see: Customer Support Contact Page
If you need to look up your CCleaner licence key then use this tool: CCleaner.com - License Lookup

If you can’t use those, (eg can no longer access your registered email), or for anything else account/billing related, including refunds, then you will need to contact support.

All customers MUST now use the ‘Live Chat’ support service. It is currently the only way to contact support.

To start the support process fill in this form: Contact Form.
Once you submit the form you will be given a support ticket/ID number onscreen, with a summary of your request.
The 'Live Chart dialogue should open automatically with a message from the AI Chatbot - if it doesn’t open itself then there is a ‘Start Chat’ button.
If the Chatbot can’t help then you will be passed to a real person.

IMPORTANT- Don’t just fill in the form and leave - If you do not engage with the chat then you will not get any reply.

Thank you for your guide… I can’t use Customer Suppory because of registered e-mail address dosen’t exist. So I wrote to “Live Chat” and it gave me a contact form web address. I tried to explain my problem and gave them true e-mail address. So, Waiting for solution. I hope they can get contact with me by correct e-mail address.

I can see from our records that your support request to update your email address has been sent to our senior team, and this should be processed soon. A team member should contact you to advise you when this has been done.

I would like to manage my CCleaner account asap. I am going to buy a new pc. So I will move my CCleaner pro to new one. It shoudnt be so difficult to find solution and get contact with me. Could you please force the senior team? Because I am waiting for long time.

Yes I wrote wrong e-mail address and there is a mistake and I did it. But the system didnt checked or sent automatic confirm for it is correct e-mail or not.

Simply install CCleaner on your new machine, open it, go to ‘Settings’ (the cogwheel) then ‘My Subscription’ and enter your existing licence key to activate it as Professional.

(You should then uninstall CCleaner Pro from the old machine unless you have a multi-device licence).

If you want to contact support for any other questions about accounts or billing:-

I have checked both my inbox and spam folder for my correct email address, but I haven’t received any response dated March 3rd or any other date. Could you please ask the team to resend the confirmation or update to my correct email address? I think they are still trying to send everything to wrong email address. I am still unable to manage my account. Thank you.

@Orco, I have requested the email be resent. The email address used to send this is the same email address you used to contact support and the same one on your forum account.
If you don’t receive this within 24 hours, please message me back so I can investigate this further.

Kristýna from the Senior Team reached out to me. They successfully located my order and processed a full refund so that I can make a fresh purchase with my correct email address. This was a perfect solution for my situation.
