wont defrag

hi, defragler leaves 40 pc still fragmented on my data only hdd. hdd is about 300 gb with lots of free space. win 7

any ideas anyone, thanks i advance

How are you defragging?

There are two different things that are both called 'defragmenting' and by default Defraggler does a combination of both, but you can make it do either/or.

just read that.. my problem is still there. windows defragmenter reports no fragmentation

Well different defragmenters will report different things, but a 40% difference seems a lot.

Can you post screenshots of your Defreggler screen both before and following a defrag?

before i do that the latest number is about 14 pc. i only defraged the selected items after analysis. also the only file now thats not defraged is a windows backup
