Back then I use WMP 10 and it was runnin' fine, then I upgraded to v11 but after some days it just wouldn't run for no reason. I followed the rollback instructions from Microsoft. The error isn't found in Troubleshooting Windows Media Player 10
Error Messages site. I reinstalled WMP 10 using the installer from Microsoft
