do you guys update your windows by turning on automatic updates or do you go to windows update website and update from there?
I dont have the "automatic update" setting on.
I goto the Windows Update website a little once in a while to manually check for updates.

I always go to the site. I do the Custom version to make sure I get more than just the critical stuff. Works wonders when I need it and I check every so often.

Same here, sometimes automatic update is slower than the actually Windows Update site on releasing updates.

Can you PLEASE stop talking about having illeagal software. I'm about 98% sure that no one here has an illeagal copy of windows except you. This is not the forum for talking about that, this forum is for helping people with computer related problems and just learning in general.

I gotta agree with you. It's getting tiresome to constantly see.
This is not a warez site! Links/Requests to warez and/or illegal material (porn, cracks, serials, etc..) will not be tolerated. Discussion of circumventing activation/timebombs/keygens or any other illegal activity will also not be tolerated. If you ignore any of the aforementioned you will receive a final warning.
