When I run ccleaner and close it windows shuts down. This is new!

@sussertown: That's odd. What are your settings under Options > Advanced? Do you have "Shutdown after a Custom Clean" checked?

Have you somehow ticked this in the Advanced settings?

Sorry for stepping on your answer there. I shall go back to monitoring Black Friday post-sales support tickets :-)
