Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 file destination.

Previously, "The Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00" output file was sent to my document directory.

Now it is appearing on my desktop.

How can I redirect it to my document directory.

Are you talking about the CCleaner backup that you are asked if you want to make when you clean the registry?

YES, I believe that is correct.

I hadn't noticed that, it always used to save it to Documents but now it seems to default to the Desktop. 

You can change where it save it in the dialogue that comes up.

TBH don't use the Registry Cleaner, it's not needed these days unless your computer has a big problem/very damaged registry. 

Windows will usually sort out any registry problems itself these days.
