Windows\recent folder question

I just downloaded CClearner today and did so because I was under the impression that it can be used to cleanup the C:\windows\recent folder. However if I go into the Cleaner settings and have all items under the Windows Explorer checked which includes recent documents and then click on analize it says that nothing will be removed. Am I missing something or will the product not clean out this folder?

CCleaner does clean that folder but you're right, I just checked and (I only had a dozen entries in that folder) Analyze reported 0 bytes to be removed ... but Run Cleaner cleaned out the entries.
