I tried that 80s Windows on a floppy thing a few years ago, and don't know how people coped with such stuff, but then again they didn't know about future versions usability.

I don't know either.

Floppies have to be the world's worst for losing their formatting, or having an error, or even becoming unusable & un-writable.

Floppies are more reliable when files are erased instead of formatting, because formatting can kill a perfectly good floppy dead.

They are flaky & may work great, but then not work the next time you use them. Slow, unreliable, & I don't know how people coped either!

I enjoyed my sense of power over the machine when by Bat file reached

GOTO :LOOP

and the floppy had to clatter through to the end of file and start reading again from the beginning :)
