I am sorry took me so long to get back here. Anyway, Microsoft Error Code 0xc000017 will happen when upgrading to the latest version of windows if you do not have enough ram. My system was verified by windows, but after a 90 minutes download, and attempt to install. I kept getting the same error. I have determined that your system must have 1 gb of sequential memory available for the windows 10 upgrade. Until I can figure out how to create a virtual ram on the laptop, it is impossible to upgrade to the most current version of windows 10. I had to disable the automatic update in the services program to get windows to stop updating. Thanks everyone for your comments. Rick
