Windows 'allocates' 2 drives. Lost data.

I mistakenly allowed Windows Disk Manager to 'allocate' two disks. When I run Reciva, the error message is 'Cannot determine file system type', more or less.

The drives are formatted in NTFS. Nothing has been written to the disks since.

Is there a way to get Recova to use that information (NTFS) to try and recover two disks?

Will the professional version work? Several other programs do detect or ask for the file system. Will the pro version do that?

There is no difference between pro and free when it comes to recovery
