windows 7 bluescreen unexpected shutdown

When I leave my computer long enough for it to go to sleep, I often find it has shut down on its own. Upon rebooting, it tells me windows had an unexpected shutdown and gives the following info:

Problem signature:

I have used ccleaner and several programs promising to fix the problem, but nothing has so far. Everything works fine except this...can anyone shed some light on this issue?

Bugs with sleep and hibernate are common. I disabled autosleep cos it always awakened with a hangover.

Control Panel\ Power Options\ Change when the computer sleeps\ Put computer to sleep: Never

Try downloading Who Crashed which may tell you what drivers may be causing (it if it is a driver)

When installed click 'analyse' and read info and copy and paste any you think my be of interest here.

Going to sleep shouldn't really cause your machine to blue screen.

It might be interesting to NOT wait for it to go to sleep,

BUT to click the bottom left corner "Windows Start" icon and choose an immediate "Sleep".

Then reboot and compare any forced "unexpected shutdown" report with your normal time-out "unexpected shutdown" report.

a lot of 'wake up' problems seem to stem from a motherboard - power supply incompatability.

the internal smarts of both don't talk to each other as they should.

i've had success in the past by changing the power supply unit to a more modern one - but that's a bit drastic.

a far simpler way as Kroozer states is to turn off the power save modes.

if you use the sleep, stand-by or hibernate options to save the environment, even in low-power mode, the unit is still sucking the juice.

turn it off and be done with it.

if you use those modes to get the quick Windows start-up, then sadly you'll be without that option.

wen any video is running on my system its gets shutdown and upon rebooting, it tells me windows had an unexpected shutdown and gives the following info:

can anyone plz help me to solve this problem

please start your own topic before anyone can help you.

and when you do, include more info, like how were you watching the video (browser, youtube, DVD)?

software used (VLC, media player, browser type and version)?

is it any and all videos? certain ones? certain types?

other software running?

based on this thread topic - anything to do with shutting down?, power-save mode?

the more info you give, the better the advice can be.
