Windows 10 No Window but ccleaner running in task manager

I've just installed the latest version of ccleaner on Windows 10 Fall Edition.

I've started ccleaner and it seems to be running, I can see it in the Task Manager, but there is no ccleaner window displayed, so I can't actually use the program.

Any ideas?

I've tried the 32 bit and 64 bit versions.

perhaps the monitoring ...

if you dont want this feature:

options -> monitoring ->

uncheck "enable system monitoring

uncheck "enable acitve monitoring"

and "yes" to the showing message

and if that doesn't work, obviously try a reboot first, and if still no luck try this;

uninstall your current version first.

then go into the Program Files folder for CC and delete its contents (keep the .ini file if you have customised settings).

download the latest build from here; https://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds

reboot the PC

install CC from your downloaded file.

None of that worked, I don't get to see any window to use the actual program in, so I'm a bit snookered here. Certainly running though as I can see it in task manager.

when you installed CC, or run it, any messages?

if you have Monitoring turned on, that's what you are seeing in Task Manager.

are you starting the program via Start, All Programs, CCleaner group, CCleaner ? (or whatever Start Menu you have on Win10)
