Winapp2.ini: What means the sign "*" in connection with the application name?

The '*' just indicate that the application cleaning data are read from winapp2.ini,

and not from winapp.ini, that's actually coded in the CCleaner executable itself.

thanks, but I was not looking for * in the RegEx, I meant "in connection with application", like

[*Adobe Photoshop 5.5]
