CCleaner v4.02.4115 (64bit) is not clearing out the Start / Run History on Win 8 Pro

Please advise.

Solved.

The list which appears in the RUN dialogue box I was seeing was in fact files accessed via browsers. For example, if I'd press 'n' for 'notepad', I'd see a list of all files accessed via, for example, Chrome - starting with the letter 'n', example: netbook

These were eventually cleared by re-ticking/checking the browser 'History' box of CCleaner's options and a regular clean removed them.
