This Thursday I guess.
Just installed the Threashold update via Win Updates.
Took a good hour and a half with download install and the upgrade windows (circle and percentages). Reboots etc
All working okay.
Just had my version of windows 10 updated and the first message i got was that Speccy has been disabled because it doesn't work with this version of windows 10
Speccy64 is suffering a bug caused by the 64bit CPU-Z embedded in it. If you delete speccy64, from the speccy folder, does threshold still block it?
Win 10, v1511 installed here too, no install problems except the time it took with my slow broadband.
Still looking around but have already noticed a few oddities in behaviour.
When typing in an editor, like this one, the mouse pointer keeps jumping around on its own and occasionally seems to make a 'pick' outside the editor.
If your are typing fast and not realy looking at the screen you can loose half a line before you notice its not inputting.
EDIT, thinking more this may be the laptops touchpad, I'll bet they have changed the driver and/or settings.
EDIT2, MS disabled the manufacturers touchpad driver and installed their own, cheeky buggers.
The default settings for this meant that as I was typing the heel of my hand was catching and operating the touchpad.
I attached a clip of the new start menu to a post elsewhere, used alt+prt scr to clip it but this did not capture the full width of the new start menu.
They have changed the width in this new version, guess they rushed and the window size is still the same even though the new menu displays outside it.
Off to check what MS have done in the settings and how many they have reset to their preferences instead of mine.

Just reinstall it after the upgrade. I know someone else who had this issue with Speccy and it worked as normal after reinstalling it.
Well, W10 TH2 is finally downloading into my PC now. Wish me luck.
I like this update a lot. They fixed the ugly window borders. You can now add color to them so they are so flat and white:
Another successful Win 10 TH2 update that seems to be working well so far except for Speccy (will re install) must say the time it took to download and install was 2 cups of coffee and one white wine............it's all good though
So I force pushed T2. My first worry is: immediately noticed that all my pdf files were changed from adobe open to edge. Anyone know any other hijacked extentions I might need to fix.
Edit
Was an installed ccleaner moved to windows.old by anyone else's machine?
My defaults I had set stayed the same with T2.
My privacy settings stayed the same.
My Ccleaner is also still installed.
I see others have had Ccleaner removed e.g

how odd and indiscriminate lol.
It also dupicated my ie bookmarks over to windows.old but still left them in place (or re sync'd them after upgrade)
Does anybody know if TH2 issued a new Product Key (CD key) like the upgrade from 8.1 to 10 did?
I notice that TH2 issued a new Product ID (last 3 digits changed) but am a bit reluctant to install and run Speccy to check the Key at the moment.
EDIT.
Well I bit the bullet and installed Speccy, (and BTW 64bit version runs without problems on this laptop).
The Product Key / Serial Number has not changed.
The November Threshold2 .iso build 1511 10586 (Media Creation Tool) has been removed,
Instead the older 10240 is downloaded instead. Although Microsoft are now saying they want users to download 10586 via Win Updates, it doesn't seem to be being offered at the moment for some folk.
Makes doing a clean Win 10 install of 10586 very difficult.
All very strange and confusing....

Darn I thought they'd turned over a new leaf, getting threshold 2 on my moms machine from 8.1 was so much easier than 8 to 8.1 (had to reupdate from factory 8 this week)

Damn it.
I wasn't getting my TH2 via the Windows Update method even when manually clicking 'check for updates'.
So I used the Creation Tool and downloaded TH2 for Win10 Home 32 & 64 earlier last week (6gig download - took about 6 hours) and was intending to go back and get Win10 Pro (for my PC) very soon.
Looks like I won't be doing that any time soon.
I've now set Win10 to 'defer upgrades' - I'll worry about TH2 later, or just wait for TH3.
There are some people saying that users who downloaded the 10586 (1511 TH2 Nov Update) and used it to move from 7 or win 8 may not get the 30 day period in which to switch back. Or, if they had only just moved up from 10240 a week ago for example, the 10586 iso may wipe out the previous Win version backup
Win Updates would check this before offering the download.
Windows 10’s fall update is deleting certain apps without asking
Venturebeat article. Worst editor ever, claims a Speccy update was pushed...links to the download site, listing the January 2015 release date. No update was pushed (to the best of my knowledge, at least) speccy and ccleaner just plain worked after re-install.
I love that Microsoft is being so shut-mouth about the removals. Thus far the only, allegorical, warning I've heard was Speccy (I didn't see this warning myself) and my out-of-date bluetooth driver/controller; all the other applications were just moved
New day.. new rules. The Media Creation Tool and iso are back and available
Recently we learned of an issue that could have impacted an extremely small number of people who had already installed Windows 10 and applied the November update. Once these customers installed the November update, a few of their settings preferences may have inadvertently not been retained. For these customers, we will restore their settings over the coming days and we apologize for the inconvenience. We worked to resolve the issue as quickly as possible - it will not impact future installs of the November update, which is available today.
Lol, my above linked article has been completely rewritten because I prodded the author on Twiiter.
