Recently I began getting this file showing up as 10-13 percent fragmented. It doesn't seem to matter whether I exempt system files in options or not.
Is there a way to defrag hiberfil.sys and or get it not so show as "fragmented" ?

Why will not this file defrag ?
. . . cos it's protected. Best you can do is delete it, then enable it. I perceive no benefit in hibernation, so leave it disabled.
Edit: Forgot to mention you can also leave it enabled but tell Defraggler to exclude in the results by ticking ☑ Exclude hibernation.
TrinAz, you can do it 3 ways:
- Schedule one time boot defrag (currently 2.10 has a bug, so use 2.09).
- Disable Hibernation.
- Exclude Hibernation in Defraggler options.
Personally, I usually do like Kroozer & just exclude it.
