Why recovered video file size changed?

I downloaded Recuva yesterday to recover several MP4 video files. The recovery was successfully done which is so impressive as I have tried some other softwares but none can recover it.

However, the recovered file size become very big. For example, an original file size is less than 100M but the recovered file size becomes 2~6GB each. All file size that I want to recovered is just around 15GB but the total recovered file size reaches 200GB. May I know the reason and how to change it back to original file size? Thanks!

Were you running a normal scan? Were you trying to recover a number of files which were originally around 80-100 mb in size, which totalled 15 gb? From a HD? Were the files found and recovered under their original names? Can any of the large recovered files be played?
