Why does boot-time defrag only take one second?
I see the black cmd line screen, but it already says 100% when it loads up.
Defraggler doesn't look as if it's doing anything during a 'once' boot-time defrag.
Thanks.

Because it's only defragging files that during windows use are locked (such as page, hibernation and system files (not much for it to do) plus it's unencumbered by the usual things which might slow a defragment (such as gui, memory and processor availability)
So that's not abnormal then. OK. Thanks.
