Which is better? Firefox or Opera?

I'd like to know everyone opinions on which browser they think is better!

Thanks

I use both and like both. They both have advantages/features that the other doesn't. No need to choose between them. Install both.

Opera

I'm at the point where I dont like either of them(or IE either). I guess I dislike FF the least though so thats why I use it. :P I'm hoping firefox3 will be a big release that makes me like firefox again. :)

Ok thanks for your opinions. I think you might like FF3 when it's released rridgely, because i heard it's going to be able to block malware or something like that...

After using Firefox for many years (since version 0.8 or so back in circa 2003), I recently switched to Opera 9. Wow, what a difference. Pages definitely load a tad faster and the GUI is more responsive. I also like the skins better, and love the fact that it has a built-in mail client. :D

but what about the extensions and themes Firefox has .. a big one for firefox .. which keeps me hung on to FF .. :P

Sweet, thanks for the cool links! Awesome!!!

I use Firefox, with a few add-ons and with Firetune (Totalidea.com), it runs awesomely. I tried Opera, but didn't find a true need after using Firefox. MaximumPC even recommends it when compared to IE.

@CTskifreak: why the name change?

GCNbball8 was a name from the first forum I joined - Gamer-Talk.net...It stood for Nintendo Gamecube - baseball - 8 (for May 8 - my birthday)... that site died, and has been reborn as D-pad.net, but it really isn't running.

I switched because it fits me more, and it is my Gmail acount (minus the s).
