I have attached a screen shot of the different secure methods of deleting the things found by CCleaner, why? Because I have always wondered which is the most secure? Which truly deletes the best (i.e. removes as much trace, if not all, of the data)?

I think that a simple overwrite is sufficient for most data.

Ah right, so no matter which I choose they are pretty much doing the same? Over-writing the data? I currently use the last option, Gutmann (35 Passes), is that a good choice? I don't mind the wait, so long as it does a good job. Is it the most "secure"?

It sounds logical that the more you overwrite, the less of a chance there is to recover some data.
I personally think 35 passes is overkill. A simple overwrite is sufficient.
Overwriting once should stop regular forensic examinations. TLA agencies can examine drives with electron microscopes but unless its a case of national security, an individual would get a regular old forensic examination.

It may be noticeable that I haven't posted much recently, this is because I've been busy. I'm working my way through, however.
