am a regular user more than a decade. but when trying to download the latest CC version.
It showing VIRUS ALERT by my Mcafee...screenshot enclosed.
am afraid of upgrading. please do the needful

It is no doubt flagging the bundled Avast/Chrome installer as a "potentially unwanted program". (not a virus or spyware).
Just make sure that you untick the box (bottom left) on the first page of the installer if you don't want Avast or Chrome.
I have the same problem now with ccupdate5.66.7705.exe
I'm using Eset NOD32 antivirus. (suspicious object)
