Well I just finished scanning and was wondering what happens when I click on the "Switch To Advance Mode"? Will everything be gone and have to redo it again? If not what does it do I am really scared since it took me 4 hours.
Also if I were to end the session would anything be change? As in nothing will be deleted or damaged? Cause maybe I exited out and then I forgot to get something and wanted to go back and get it.
Where would all be the data be saved after I recovered it? I know we have to pick a drive but could we pick a specific folder or something on the drive?
Sorry for all the hassle, it's just that there are Important files and family picture are at danger.
Hi iiTzzDeFuze, and welcome to the forum.
You obviously started with the "Wizard", which is active by default.
If you switch to "Advanced Mode", the UI will change to whatever you have configured in Recuva's "Options\General" tab without losing the original scanned files list. For instance scanning my C: drive for images gave me this in the Wizard ...

Which gave me this after switching ...

I have "Tree View" selected in Recuva's options, so pressing the "+" sign gave me the same list of scanned files, but in a tree view copy of their original locations.
A bit more than you asked for, but I hope that helps.
EDIT: Missed one of your questions.
If you end a scan and exit Recuva, you lose all details of that scan although that wouldn't write anything to your drive or delete anything from it.
You would have to scan again. And make sure if you recover anything, that you recover to another drive or partition and not the one you're recovering from, otherwise you would most likely overwrite files you are attempting to recover.
