What do these settings mean?

I don't understand what many of the options/settings on the Cleaner tab do, and I can't find any instructions for their use.

If I check 'Windows' - 'System' - 'Desktop Shortcuts', will everything (icons, links, shortcuts) on my desktop be removed?

If I check 'Applications' - 'Internet' - 'Java', is this going to uninstall Java from my computer?

What happens if I check 'Windows' - 'Advanced' - 'Tray Notifications Cache'?

I would expect details of these options to be documented somewhere, but I am not finding anything. Where do I go to find explanations of the various CCleaner options?

Yes! This is what I've been looking for. It answers my questions about the 'shortcuts' settings (deletes INVALID shortcuts), and gives me more confidence about some of the other setting. But it kinda looks like the author ran out of time or ambition. Some of the later topics (e.g. 'Application' - 'Internet', or -'Utilities') still leave a lot of questions unanswered.
