What CCleaner cleans

I don't understand. When I ran CCleaner analysis, my main anti-virus program dropped down as one to be deleted permanently. Am I reading this incorrectly? Or is CCleaner being too aggressive?

Any constructive responses would be appreciated.

It will only clean AVG temp files (log files, etc). It will not hurt the functionality of AVG.
