I changed it. I removed the Sephiroth avatar from the Final Fantasy 7 movie I had used universally on all forums - up until this happened.

Care to explain the drama and whatnot? I don't get this thread but for some reason, I can relate in one way or another.
My problem is the forum isn't working properly for me, and after a lot of time trying to eliminate the cause being my end, it was eventually discovered that I have a corrupt profile/account.
At the moment the only real option I have is to merge my account with another which works properly. The only problem with that being the admin don't know what the outcome of that will be. I could be starting all over again.
The other issue is the forum was down for a long time.
I don't know but some of the forum issues almost seem self-healing.
I just don't understand how a profile/account could become corrupted, however proofs in the pudding with Dennis having so many issues and a new profile doesn't exhibit those problems.

Not so much the profile account that gets corrupted it's the database behind the forum (MySQL in the case of ip Board) and it's probably not just Dennis' account but as most people "post and run" (have one thread and that's all) or don't use the new content link (i didn't even really know it was there until I became a moderator) they don't notice the corruption.
Nergal, I'm sure if you had the controls at your fingertips you could fix this.

sadly I'm not sure about that, I've only recently started to dip my autodidactic tenticles into learning and mucking with sql innerds especially mysql (which now that I have my forum mirrored locally I'm looking into :-X )
