Wanting permission

Hi, I post on quite a few websites and help people with their computer problems.

I was just wondering what permission I need in order to promote Piriform software elsewhere on the net and if it is ok to quote information from the Piriform website.

Ccleaner and Defraggler are 2 programs I use regularly and completely trust.

Keep up the good work! :)

Promote all you'd like so long as all links point to the relevant piriform website (such as the download location)

And also realize "promoting" will probably get you banned as being a spammer on other forums/sites.

I was wondering what the response would be.

I guess it does depend on the definition of"promote" in this situation.

as long as the OP isn't selling the product and states the free version is for non-commercial use, there is no harm.

he's just 'advertising' (lets call it) Piriform's products, something anyone doing 10 seconds of web searching would have discovered for themselves.

he would even be fine in 'advertising' a Piriform product alongside any other competitors product - it is a free world.

he only has to follow that particular web sites own rules.

Here is the relevant Part 3 of the EULA.
