Yes, I think that is a very bad thing to say. It is never fun to hope or say such a thing, not even as a joke.

His thoughts about Vista are well known, and he was basically trolling my thread.

Since hoping that Eld dies in a car accident is not going to change the odds of it happening (or not happening), it was just meant as a joke (a troll for a troll). :P
