Video file thumbnails gone

Hello, since using CCleaner on my Windows 7 computer, thumbnail pictures for Video files and PDF files seem to have stopped working, I now just get the file with no picture etc. Thumbnails for Jpegs are still OK.

This happened a while ago but I have only just decided to sort it out.

I have followed basic instructions to make sure thumbnails are 'switched on' with no change. I did this manually and also downloaded and run a fix to do this.

I cannot be certain that CCleaner did this but it happened about the same time.

Please note I am not a computer expert, any help would be greatly appreciated.

have you yet attempt to restart the machine?did you only use the cleaner section of ccleaner, or did you use the registry section

The machine has been switched off and on many times since.

I used both parts which you mentioned.

The cleaner part with 'thumbnails cache' checked along with many other things of course.

I have just checked the registry cleaner and every box there is checked also.

I am using the free version 3.15, it's been on the computer a while

there have been at least 11 version of ccleaner since your version came out. Many bugfixes were included in those updates, perhaps a newer version fixes yo7r issue.
