I installed cleaner pro v7, and the settings about page shows the version as 7.1.1066, which is what I installed days ago. Recently I could swear I noted a version with last 4 digits as 12xx. I tried to update via the app, but it didn’t. I don’t know whether that is because:
a. it really is the latest version. BUT the version installed used (in cleaner v6) be displayed in the title bar, and the latest version was always shown in the download pages of the website. Neither of those is the same now, so I have no way of determining if my software is up-to-date, or the update button just isn’t working.
OR
b. the update button in the new version just isn’t working.\
FYI, I used to get the latest version from the website rather than via the update button in the app That way I could verify what was the latest version, AND have a copy of it for my other machines which avoided multiple downloads on a restricted internet capacity link. I would very much like to be able to keep that practice, which means the app needs tweaking in the next release.
If I could revert to v6 with the same settings, I would.
