Versie 7

Versie 7 is zeker géén verbetering.

Google Translation:

I installed version 7 of CCleaner, but I have to be honest, I much preferred the previous version. It’s easier to use and much more organized, and it didn’t delete things I didn’t want it to delete, which this one does.

Another thing I really miss in this new version is the “Options” section, where, among other things, I could view my restore points and selectively delete them. In my opinion, this is a very important option.

Where is that option now? I can’t find it anywhere.

Version 7 is definitely not an improvement.

Can I go back to the previous version? Or should I cancel my subscription after years of use?

Please respond quickly.

Don’t expect any quick response from the staff.

I would not be at all surprised if they have been told to keep their heads down for a week or so while the rash of posts/observations/complaints about the update to v7 is at it’s peak.
(We have seen similar happen before where they go missing following a big change).

Yes. many users are dissapointed at just how limited and buggy CCleaner v7 is, and that major parts are missing: parts such as Smart Cleaning, and Scheduling, are missing altogether, whilst others such as Cookies-to-Keep, Duplicate Finder, etc. are still there in new forms they are harder to find.
Personally I’d also prefer a centralised Options/Settings rather than odd settings scattered all over the place.

I wouldn’t say v7 was anywhere near ready for a full release yet.
In my opinion whilst the ‘Beta v7’ was actually an Alpha version, this ‘Official Release’ is the actual Beta, ie. not finished and buggy.

I totally agree with everything nukecad has said.

Version 7 is not stable enough for public release.
