V4.02.4115 Fails

Hello

I have just upgraded CCleaner to the latest version 4.02.4115 and when I try to run the registry cleaner I am getting an "unexpected error" message.

I have run it in Debug mode and I get this:

Hi Royt,

I found this in another thread which seems to be your issue also.

Hi RoyT,

I am sorry to hear that you are having problems with Registry cleaning.

Could you provide us with the dump file created by CCleaner when your machine crashed?

You can use CCleaner to locate them:

Thanks

MrT

Just remember not to run CCleaner until after you have sent MrT the dump files, or there won't be any because you will have cleaned them :)

Hi Mr T

I must be thick

I cannot see where these dumps are located

I am attaching a screenshot of my dump screen

Roy

CCL.zip

Just to be clear

CCleaner is not listed as having a memory dump in the list of applications?

Roy

Hi RoyT,

You just have to either

right-click an item in the results view and select "View detailed results" from the context menu

rightClick.png

or

double-click any item

Thanks

Hi

But none of the dumps relate to Ccleaner.

And none of the system memory dumps relate to today

Roy

And Ccleaner is not listed in the list of applications in the Applications tab

Roy

Just for the record

I just uninstalled V4.02 and went back to V4.01 - same problem
