After using it, I noticed that some video links on webpages do not work.
On some webpages, where videos should be displayed, there is a blank box. In the upper left corner of the box, there is a small icon containing several small colored shapes.
CCleaner removes temporary internet files and temporary system files and .dat files. Most of the time, links to videos, websites, etc. will be stored as temporary files. Movie files (depending on where and how you got them) have a file included as a system file sometimes and .ini file and rarely a .bin file that has system information included in them along with links. This system file is a temporary file and will be removed by CCleaner if you have all options selected for CCleaner to scan. Unselect the box for index.dat files under Internet Explorer heading and Thumbnail Cache under Windows Explorer and "Other Explorer MRUs" under Windows Explorer. This may solve the issues with the links. And as the member said before me, without knowing what internet browser you're using or where the videos are etc. I'm really taking a shot in the dark on this and trying to cover all avenues.
But this really doesn't sound like a CCleaner issue unless you accidentally uninstalled ActiveX or the Flash Player from Adobe or whatever flash player you use. The little colorful icons represent missing or bad links. If you did not accidentally uninstall any program or uninstall intentionally, then the problem may lie with the browser itself or the site.
