Upgraded to newest Version - Smart cleaning after closing browser doing nothing

Hi All,

I just upgraded to the newest version.

Since I upgraded smart cleaning after closing broser seems to do nothing anymoe.

i am running the paid version

lemme guess your browser is chromium edge? If not please tell us what it is.

If it is type in your address bar 

edge://settings/system

and turn off startup boost. That's what keeps your browser in memory and unable to clean.

For your information. Another way to get to the settings menu is to press Alt+F or click the three-dots..

I changed the setting and will pay attention , to see what happens , when closing the browser later today,

Just closed the browser I got the ccleaner message "browser cleaned"

So it seems the ussue has been solved.

beware everybody, my edge turned smart boost on after I had checked it was off when this thread was posted. So if your ccleaner stops (again) go in and check that setting (again).
