Hi, At the moment, I find that updating CCleaner can get a little frustrating with having to download say 2.6mb every time, would it be possible to introduce an update wizard which would access the server and only download and update the parts of the program which need updating, so you aren't downloading a completely new install of the program every time, or even just publish a small update file for current users containing the bits that need updating as at the moment in my eyes a lot more bandwith is being used than it would have to be, and also it would help speed the update process up for everyone who just wants to update to fix bugs etc and add any new features available in the latest version as everyone has to download the 2.6mb file every time, and as explained this seems a bit daft, when a lighter version for updating users could be introduced and or an update wizard so this is all done automatically, which would be the prefered option, and this would not nesecarily need a lot of programming if it used a third party updating process or something like this but really something is needed as it takes a lot of time to update every single time, especially this will depend on the users connection speed e.g. some people may be on slower connections than others but I think something like this would be a great help to all users.

The update process in current form isn't difficult because the Announcements area of the forums always lists new versions the very day they're released. Also there are other builds less in size than 2.6 MB, etc., all available at (tip: bookmark this link):
Welcome to the Piriform Forums jdtaylor!I'm sorry, I didn't notice that, now I know that's there it may well be easier to use that, and if the file size is just being increased by the tool bar, could that just be removed from the main file, and offered as a separate download if people want it, so they don't have to download it if they don't need that.
