Some registry keys are protected/locked. For an example ZoneAlarm does that with some registry keys to protect itself.

Yes you're right and it's the same for all Norton's stuff...
Never use Symantec products !!!
But could it exist a way to unlock all this keys with a fast and easy way ? A feature inside CC or before using CC... ?

Place the program in C:\Windows or wherever your Windows OS directory is, then simply start a Command Prompt to use the program. Command Line programs are much quicker to use when placed in C:\Windows since you won't have to use the change directory command ("cd") just to use them.
Make sure you have Administrator priveleges. In regedit, right-click the key, and select Permissions... If an option for Administrator is already there, then just tick next to Full Control and Read under Allow.
If the option for Administrator isn't there, click, add type Administrator, O.K it, then just tick next to Full Control and Read under Allow.

Tried this. on zip file opening get .exe and README files installed in Windors dir. Program will not run
It seems the harder I try the deeper the hole gets. Maybe its time to stop and learn to live with it
As an aside - I have noted reports in other forums about the same XP registry files no one has yet come up with an answer.
thanks all for your help

Have got Administrator prevleges.
I suspect the Reg Del Null is not downloading correctly, Have downloaded Zip file and opened it to desk top only two files README and a shortcut to program appear.. How many files should there be
If the download isn't working delete your browser cache/temporary internet files and download it again.
The .exe is in the archive:
# Report generated by WinRAR# Archive Regdellnull.zip2005-11-28 12:53 893 501 a65bf702 README.TXT2005-12-06 09:49 40960 17713 22566ab1 RegDelNull.exe## Total Size Packed Files# 41853 18214 2
That could be a problem as well, but for deleting reg keys thats the way to do it...
