uninstallation issues

Ok so I try to unisntall some programs but they are still there after the uninstall.

AND most programs dont even have the remove button in the add remove programs menu.

Ive heard CCleaner can fix this,

is this true and how do I do it?

Could you tell us what operating system you have, XP?

Now what are the programs you are trying to uninstall?

When you go start> programs, are they listed there? Is the uninstaller listed there?

If you go into c drive and then programs files and open the particular program you want to uninstall, is there an uninstaller listed there?

Have you tried uninstalling them in safe mode?

I have Xp

Im trying to remove all my adobe stuff. there are no buttons there for me to uninstall. and I cant find uninstall files in the folders either. I haven't tried in safe mode. I guess I could.

I have also Ran the uninstall files for yahoo messenger and it still starts ups every time I start the pc. And the same with AVG pro.

If safe mode doesn't work you could always try the Windows Installer Cleanup
