In the Add/Remove Programs control panel, I noticed that one of my programs had two entries. They were exactly the same except for the software version. I know the old version is already gone and I just wanted to get rid of the entry. I was concerned that both entries might be linked to the same uninstaller, so to avoid the chance of losing everything, I went into CC to remove the duplicate entry.
When I looked in the Uninstall list, there was only one instance of the program listed--the one with the current version. I eventually determined that if I renamed the program instance with CC, when I rescanned the list both versions appeared. The current version had the new name and the older version had the original name. So it appears that when the name is the same, CC only sees the current version.
I am using CCleaner 3.04.1389 on Win XP Pro SP3. I've attached the registry records for the duplicated program.
Also, I don't know if its related to this bug or not but when I tried the Delete Entry on the old version all I got was an error saying "Cannot delete MSI installer".
