Undelete-able files

I have installed the latest CC. After several cycles of analysis and cleaning I'm left with 14 entries that have no file name or path. These entries vary from 388 bytes to 4.13 MBytes and the cleaner will not remove them. When I've used previous versions of CC the files found, have always been removable. Assuming the entries left over this time are a problem, can anyone suggest what the problem is and how to fix it.

Kind regards,

Duffsparky.

There's a couple of things you could try:

1. Restart your computer, then run CCleaner again to see if those files are removed.

2. If #1 doesn't work you could start your computer in Safe Mode, then run CCleaner.

Starting in Safe Mode and running CCleaner allows for more things to be cleaned since services, and other resident programs won't be running.

If the files are still undeletable there's a freeware we like on these forums and have recommended countless times called Unlocker which should be able to get rid of the files in more than one way.
