Unable to delete recovered file

Hi,

I used recuva to recover a file from a pendrive, and because I found the file, I stopped the recovering process halfway, as a result, some files are stucked and cannot be deleted. When I tried deleting it, it said that the file is no longer in the location, but it won't go away no matter how I tried to remove it. May I know what I could do with that? Thanks!

you could try rebooting the PC into Safe Mode and seeing if it deletes from there.

or get a program like Unlocker to remove stubborn files. (beware with Unlocker, it tries to install some crapware, but that option is easily unticked)
