Yep, Nergal is many versions behind!!!

Ooops fixed title Slippery Fingers

that's okay i called it 6.25 the otherday

3.24 is now slower at cleaning on my system, not significantly slower but I had thought "did I leave secure deletion on" but nope I already had it turned off.

First-time run 3.24 appears very much faster than any previous version!

Will try on a few other machines later today...

lol this isn't the official thread ;)

can you make the screen shot though?

I believe it's nothing more than typical anomalies.

In this thread there were complaints that 3.21 was slower than 3.20. Initially that appeared to me also, so I decided to track them.

There were fast and slow cleans on both versions cos CCleaner was dealing with many variables. Bottom line, over many cleans they averaged the same time.

v3.20 cleaned total of 1421.6 MB in 403.2 sec (avg 100 MB in 28.4 sec)

v3.21 cleaned total of 1873.8 MB in 515.6 sec (avg 100 MB in 27.5 sec)

I suspect v3.24 will also average ≈28 secs for me (but I'm not going to test it). :)

remember .23 and .24 have a show time taken so you actually don't need to guess ;)
