Have you tried this yet? Do you know if you have to boot your system to the pen drive or can you just insert the drive and have it run without booting to it?
No, I haven't tried this yet rridgley. The only info I have from a write up that recommends it because you don't have to install it on your hard drive.
I'm sure the linux users on this forum will be able to give members more info and there is a faq on the website.
You can try Ubuntu Linux from the LiveCD. On most computers, you just need start the computer with the CD in the drive (some computer need you to configure the BIOS to allow it to boot from CD).

You can download the .ISO and burn it to a CD. Dont have a CD writer, slow internet, or dont know how?
Then get a free Ubuntu CD shipped to you, for free, you dont even pay the shipping! https://shipit.ubuntu.com/

Both works, you can do either. Either run it from within Windows, or boot from the USB pendrive when you start the computer!
