I received a trojan virus that states it is infected on my laptop after I ran ccleaner. I thought that ccleaner automatically identifies the virus, tags it, and then cleans it up so that I won't have to do it myself. I need help on how to handles this. Can someone direct me or tell me how to remove the virus, please? Thanks, Greg
1) CCLeaner is not a security product it does none of these things
I thought that ccleaner automatically identifies the virus, tags it, and then cleans it up so that I won't have to do it myself
2) was it ccleaner itself that was identified as a trojan? This is known to happen, it is a false postive and you need to inform the maker of your antivirus product that this is a false postive. If not
3) what was the trojan and did your Antivirus Clean it for you?
