I use Metadefender, a Chrome extension, for all downloads. Usually Ccleaner Free comes up clean. But not today. I will wait to hear that this is a false positive before downloading.

One out of many virus scanners in Metadefender giving an FP isn't out of the ordinary.

Ok, I don't think its a False positive, check this out

I have very important questions :

1- are the newer version apart from the one in the link are also infected?

2- I bought the pro version, are the update server are the same?

I'm hoping for a fast response because I've already told all my customers to immediately remove the program!

please advise!

Just do a AV scan and Malware scan
