I had to reload windows 8.1 and lost all me files. Did the scan with Recuva and over 300,000 files were listed. Of course some are red and some are green. Is there a way to select the green recoverable files in a fast way? Is there a way to sort the red from green? Of course I don't know what these green files are because most of them don't have titles. I would really appreciate some help with the experts out there.
Sort by clicking on the column headers. Also don't just restore everything that is green; be judicious, and look through the list - it'll take less time than you would think
And definitely do not restore back to the same drive the files come from, if you do the likelihood of making other files (including those in your queue of restores) recoverable.
Finally, green is not a definite recovery (nor is red the converse) it just estimates on whether the data is whole or not.
