The link for the portable version is downloading the setup version

Hi,

The download link for the portable version of Recuva is downloading the setup version.

Can you please fix it?

Link: https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/download/portable/

Confirmed, it doesn't download the portable zip version.

Does not seem to be present on the builds page https://www.ccleaner.com/recuva/builds. It was there a week ago. Will check if it was temporarily withdrawn for some reason or if the page has suffered from bitrot (the latter is more likely)

For now, you can download the portable builds from other sources by searching the MD5 checksums on Google. That's what I did.

ccsetup563.zip 81cfdec318e58fbd43cb19df30bcd3e9

dfsetup222.zip 0fdf3f6dc5068e76c312797941307d75

rcsetup153.zip 74ecd76dfbbe241f454cd66a30066b88

spsetup132.zip c4d4604b7a7046ce120fa521c523afb8

I've gathered these checksums from the original announcement threads.

Not a safe way to do things really.

I'm sure the links will be fixed soon.

It's now more than 2 weeks since your post and the portable version is still not available.

Can you please let me know when this will be fixed?

Still missing over 5 months later, and no updates to this thread.

What are the official links to the portable versions of Defraggler, Speccy, and Recuva?

You can simply extract the rcsetup###.exe file with 7-zip or whatever and then use those files/folders as portable. Maybe not as clean, but works fine.

That contravenes the licence agreement not to 'reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile, translate, reconstruct, transform or extract any Solution'.

The link to the builds page has not been available through CC/Piriform's website for years (I've no idea why), so it can't be called official.

The Recuva Portable Download Link is Not Working. It downloads installation version instead of portable version. Please fix issue.
